The installer will likely even automatically launch after it finishes downloading. Specifically, the 5.3GB installer application, called Install OS X Mavericks.app, will be saved to your main Applications folder ( /Applications) and, if you’re upgrading from Mountain Lion or Lion, added to Launchpad.
